5 Eye Opening Facts You Didn't Know about Baby Carriers
This news article explains a fact I'm sure a lot of Americans are not aware of. In Nigeria and other parts of Africa mother's would strap their infants on their backs using a wrapper or "Oja" as the case may be to get their chores done. Unfortunately, it is now thought that only the poor use this means of carrying their infants. An American woman who had worked in the Peace Corp. in the area had tried this means of carrying her infant but found it to be unsafe and developed the Snugli carrier.
